Back in 2015, a company called Crazy Bricks did a Kickstarter to create customized LEGO figures based on David Petersen’s Mouse Guard.
At the time, I wasn’t aware of Mouse Guard, so I missed out on them.
Looking at that Kickstarter, I’m actually kind of glad I missed out because it only contained custom accessories and mouse heads – not the actual figures.
Fast forward five years, and Crazy Bricks has a new Kickstarter, but this time they are featuring full bodies of all of the previous mice, along with new mice.
The price was a bit much to swallow at first, but K said “do it – just order them.” So I did.
In the meantime, as I wait for the Kickstarter to run its course, and then to wait for production, I was able to track down on eBay one of the original Crazy Bricks mice from a few years.
After seeing him in person, I’m really excited for the rest of the mice to ship.
Now to just figure out a way to display them. It’s too bad that I don’t have the space, and money, to recreate the awesome ARCHLug display from ECCC 2015.
